Paid time off (PTO) provides the opportunity to relax and recharge, or to care for your own or a family member’s illness. You have the flexibility to use your PTO time for holidays, vacation, personal days, or incidental sick time. It is important you use your PTO carefully so you have time when you need it throughout the year.

Regular full-time and part-time caregivers working 20 hours or more per week (0.5–1.0 FTE) are eligible to receive PTO. Caregivers accrue PTO based on their actual hours, up to 40 hours worked, during the current pay period. The tables below show how much PTO caregivers and directors can earn based on a full-time employee (FTE) status of 1.0 (40 hours per week). Amounts are pro-rated for part-time caregivers and directors.

The maximum PTO balance you can earn is 200 hours. If you reach the maximum, you will not earn additional PTO until you take some time off and your balance falls below this maximum.
