An Intermountain study team led by Drs. Joseph Bledsoe, Sarah Majercik, and Scott Woller is part of a national effort to determine if blood thinners can help
prevent blood clots that can cause stroke, heart attacks, blood clots in the lungs (PE), blood clots in the legs (DVT), or even admission to the hospital in people with COVID-19 who are not initially admitted to the hospital.

You May Be Eligible If
- You are having symptoms and have had a positive COVID-19 test within 14 days.
- You are between the ages of 40 to 80.
- You are not currently pregnant and can take blood thinners.
