Dr. McKellar is a native of Salt Lake City and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah. He received his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine. He received his surgical training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and then returned to Salt Lake City in 2012.

Dr. McKellar was so sweet to answer all my questions and put me at ease. He took his time and reassured me. I feel much more confident going into surgery. He really made me feel like he has my best interest at heart and cares. That's hard to find In a specialist and he deserves recognition for that.
