Dr. Outtrim is a cardiologist who practices at Riverton Hospital and the Intermountain Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Electrocardiography.
His philosophy of practice is based on conveying the importance of diet, exercise, and medications (when necessary) in order to optimize heart health, and a healthy lifestyle.
Personal Bio & Interests
Dr. Outtrim received his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, with honors, from the University of Houston. He then completed a combined degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a minor in Spanish.
He entered medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. There he completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a three year cardiovascular specialty training at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
Dr. Outtrim is a veteran, and has received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy.
