Carlie received her bachelor degree in nursing from Southern Utah University, followed by a Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree in Nurse-Midwifery and a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at University of Utah in 2012. Carlie is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and maintains professional affiliations including the American College of Nurse Midwives and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in women's health. As a nurse-midwife, Carlie provides primary health care services for women from adolescence beyond menopause. Other services provided include gynecologic and family planning services, preconception care, care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. She is able to provide physical examinations, prescribe medications including contraceptives, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests; admit, manage and discharge women during labor and the postpartum period at Alta View Hospital. When not working, Carlie enjoys camping and boating, spending time with her family. Her hobbies include cooking and baking, gardening, and reading.

Carlie did an amazing job taking care of me. She listened to my concerns and involved me in my care. She let me know everything she was doing do I wasn't surprised. She was very gentle. My experience here was excellent. I would recommend anyone to come here.

I LOVE CARLIE! I get really nervous going to the doctor but she is so supportive and kind. I really like her personality and she made sure I got my lab test immediately because there was some concern.

Grateful for Carlie Yearsley's caring bedside manner. I feel she cares about me as a person and is mindful of my medical needs. She also took at least an extra 20 minutes to answer all of my health concern questions.

Absolutely fabulous!!! She caught a problem I didn't know I had. She solved it and gave me the treatment that day and now I'm all better! Woohoo!! I am pleased every time we go in for our OB appointment. We usually don't wait for more than 5 minutes and this time the ultrasound tech was waiting for us at the door and after our nurse came and got us within a couple minutes for our appointment. Carlie was great about addressing my concerns and questions and always is. She even got out the Doppler and listened to babys heart because the ultrasound tech did not do the audio. .
