We are happy to announce the organization of a Pediatric Deaf and Hard of Hearing Collaborators' Group!
With ever-changing technology and efforts to stay abreast of recommended best-practices, not to mention budget cuts and tight resources, we feel that improved communication and collaboration among professionals would have a positive impact on services we provide to children and families. Knowing "who's who" and the services each of us provide could offer important support in our various settings.
We are casting a wide net, wanting to hear from a broad representation of stake holders. From the meeting, we hope to form a few ad hoc committees with the purpose of improving communication and collaboration between agencies.
Your purpose in the meeting will be as important as providing information and discussion or as significant as participating in a committee to bring about improvement in services to children according to your interest and time.
