Construction is on schedule for Dixie Regional Medical Center’s $300 million expansion/consolidation project.
The diagnostic and treatment center was completed and opened in March 2018. Pediatrics, hyperbaric medicine, wound care, inpatient neuro-specialty rehab, inpatient neuro and inpatient pediatrics will move into their new units in the southeast patient tower around the first week of June. Then the Women and Newborn Center and the Intermountain Cancer Center of St. George are scheduled to open late 2018.

This expansion will reunite the major inpatient services from Dixie’s 400 East Campus with the River Road Campus. Four separate buildings have been under construction beginning in April of 2016 and have staggered completion dates this year.
