Heber InstaCare provides licensed physicians and specialized staff that can handle all non-life-threatening urgent care needs, from sore throats and illnesses to cuts or broken bones.

The state-of-art equipment at our facilities offers laboratory services and x-ray capabilities, plus minor procedure rooms for treatment and some outpatient tests. For specialized care, InstaCare physicians will refer you to a primary care provider.

InstaCare or Emergency Room?

According to the American College of Emergency Physicians, you should visit the ER if you have any of these warning signs:

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Sudden or severe pain
  • Coughing blood or vomiting blood
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Sudden dizziness, weakness, or changes in vision
  • Severe or persistent vomiting or diarrhea
  • Changes in mental status, such as confusion
  • Evaluation of an assault, physical or sexual abuse, or child abuse

If you are unsure of whether you are having a life-threatening medical emergency, go to the ER.

Appointments Are Not Necessary

Open seven days a week, our expanded hours and weekends give you more opportunities to receive convenient, quality medical care from highly skilled physicians and health care providers.

Intermountain’s InstaCare clinics now offer call-ahead and online Get in Line services so you can save your place in line before you arrive. Just call your local InstaCare or use the InstaCare Get in Line feature to reserve your spot and get an approximate time.

Because InstaCares still accept walk-in patients, actual wait times may vary in order to accommodate more serious conditions.

Focus on Improved Outcomes

Intermountain is leading research to improve outcomes in urgent care. Using the latest information technology and large sets of patient-specific data, we are finding ways to more accurately and quickly identify patient risk to address critical illnesses in the appropriate setting.
