Intermountain Medical Center offers tours to visitors with advanced notice. Touring our facility may be helpful for those planning for surgery or those looking to familiarize themselves with the hospital environment.
We accommodate boys and girls scout troops, schools, service organizations, and community health partners.
Tour requests must be made at least one week prior to your desired time of tour. Contact our Public Relations department to schedule a tour for most parts of the hospital. Women and Newborn Center tours are scheduled through Labor and Delivery.
What You will Experience
The 45-minute tour will take you through several areas of the hospital:
- Women’s and Newborn Center
- Education Center
- Patient Tower
- Heart and Lung Building
Because of patient privacy, we limit tour areas, but we will do our best to help you experience as much of the hospital as possible.
If you are preparing for childbirth, tours of our Women’s and Newborn Center are given on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. Tours must be scheduled in advance.
