This FREE six-week class offered at various Intermountain Healthcare locations will teach attendees how to manage their pain and symptoms, handle difficult emotions, and more.
*Note: After registering for a class session, expect to receive an initial confirmation email from Intermountain and then an additional email from the Utah Department of Health within 24-48 hours that contains detailed class information.
The BLS Providers course is intended for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, CNA’s and those who work in a healthcare setting who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a BLS class. The BLS for Provider class covers topics such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), relief of foreign-body airway obstruction and automated external defibrillation (AED).
In Heartsaver First Aid class participant will learn how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies.

Heartsaver CPR AED Course: The Heartsaver CPR AED Course teaches AED use, CPR, and relief of choking in adults, children, and infants, and use of barrier devices for all ages. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements such as daycare providers, fitness instructors, etc.

Breastfeeding Class. Taught by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, this one evening class will help educate expectant parents about the art of breastfeeding and its benefits to both mom and baby.
