What is Interventional Cardiology?

Interventional Cardiology (IC) is the use of invasive procedures to treat certain cardiac and vascular conditions. The hallmark of IC is the treatment of heart attacks, and heart artery blockages. Here at McKay-Dee Cardiology, we are able to treat a wide variety of conditions both in and out of the heart using catheter based procedures. With decades of combined experience and using some of the most advance techniques available, our Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologists may have a treatment which is right for you.
