Dr. Martin is originally from South India, where he earned his medical degree at Thanjavur Medical College. He completed his orthopedic residency at Kilpauk Medical College and practiced orthopedic surgery in rural India before migrating to the United States. He completed his general surgery residency at the New York Medical College and his plastic surgery residency at Georgia Regents University.

Dr. Martin has performed extensive clinical research. His training in different fields of surgery has given him a unique perspective on the reconstruction of extremities after tumor resection and trauma. His services include breast reconstruction, body contouring, and cosmetic surgery, though his focus on orthopedic surgery has led him to be especially interested in the field of hand surgery and peripheral nerves. His research has been published in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; he has also co-authored a book chapter on the stabilization of craniomaxillo facial injuries.

Dr. Martin and his wife have two children and enjoy calling Utah their home. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family and participate in outdoor activities.
