What Sets Us Apart
Evidenced Based Care and Excellent Outcomes
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Guidelines
We adhere to care guidelines published by the CF Foundation. If a guideline does not exist for a specific clinical scenario, we utilize evidence based data and experience from our center and other centers to create local standardized protocols.
Excellent Outcomes
We are committed to excellent outcomes, management and performance improvement.
- 2018: 1st in the nation for lung function in patients 6-17 years old in centers with >100 patients
- 2018: 5th in the nation for lung function in patients 6-12 years old among all centers
- 2018: 9th in the nation for lung function in patients 13-17 years old among all centers
Participation in Multi-center Clinical Studies
Research has always been the backbone of CF clinical care. Most available therapies nowadays were developed through clinical studies. Our center is an active member of the Therapeutic Development Network (TDN); the research arm of the CF Foundation.
Focus on Quality Improvement
Our center is trained in quality improvement methodology through two grants that we received from the CF Foundation.
