Pediatric dysautonomia, also called autonomic dysfunction, is a rare disorder that affects the autonomic nervous system (ANS) in children. The ANS controls automatic body functions like breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and body temperature. When the ANS doesn't work right, it can cause problems with these important functions and makes it hard for a child to do everyday activities.
Our goal is to care for children with dysautonomia by bringing together a team of doctors and specialists in one place. We work closely with cardiologists, neurologists, and other specialists to create a personalized plan to get your child feeling better and back to their activities.
We start by getting to know your child's journey and daily experiences.
When we understand your child's health better, we create a personalized plan for them. This plan might include physical therapy, counseling, and pain management strategies.
To access our services, your child needs a referral from their regular doctor. We also offer online consultations.
With a team-based approach that addresses all aspects of your child's health, our goal is to help them feel better and get them back to doing the things they love.
