What is pediatrics?

Pediatrics focuses on the physical, emotional, and developmental health of babies, children, and teenagers. Pediatricians diagnose and treat illnesses, monitor growth and development, provide vaccinations, support behavioral and mental wellbeing, and partner with parents to help kids thrive.

Our pediatric team works closely with other Intermountain specialists—such as behavioral health, ENT, cardiology, and more—to ensure your child receives coordinated, whole-family care.
