Someone asked me the other day how things have changed since more and more people are getting the COVID-19 vaccine. The truth is, it’s night and day different. As the medical director of Infectious Diseases TeleHealth at Intermountain Healthcare, I’ve had a front-row seat to the devastation caused by the virus. In the past couple of months, we’ve seen fewer cases of serious illness and death. Our ICUs and other hospital units are feeling less stress.

This class provides a structured exercise program to develop multiple aspects of physical performance in individuals with an established level of fitness. These group classes focus on building strength, mobility, balance, aerobic and anaerobic endurance, and improving skill in basic motor patterns. LiVe Fit Plus classes differ from LiVe Fit classes in that the format is generally more intense and requires a higher level of fitness, without existing orthopedic conditions that may limit participation in the group workout format.

This Move Well class is appropriate if you have mobility challenges and may be using an assistive walking devices. The class incorporates seated resistance exercises to help build muscle strength and endurance, with the goal to help you perform activities of daily living with greater ease.

This 4 week prenatal class is held one night a week for 4 weeks and is for first-time moms who are planning to have an epidural. You should arrange to finish this class 3 to 4 weeks before your due date. A breastfeeding class is included; Partners are invited and highly encouraged to attend.
