At Utah Valley Hospital, we are proud to be the only Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center with Thrombectomy Capabilities in Utah County. This certification demonstrates our expertise in treating the most complex strokes. B.E. F.A.S.T. - Know the signs of a stroke and how to respond

Responding quickly is important because in the first minute of a stroke, the brain loses an estimated 1.9 million cells, which means every minute counts. 

B.E. F.A.S.T. and call 911 when you see these signs:

  • Face drooping
  • Arm weakness
  • Speech problems
  • Time to act
