Primary Care

Our highly-trained primary care providers treat you by caring for your physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs. They also understand the unique healthcare needs of LGBTQ+ people. We recognize your need for a personal relationship with your primary care team. Our caring clinicians are dedicated to listening to your health concerns, treating your individual needs, providing preventive medicine, and working with you to improve your health.

Advanced Practice Providers

Advanced Practice Providers (APP) include Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) that support our LGBTQ+ Health care team.

Plastic Surgeons

Surgeons provide health care in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. Care teams provide repair, reconstructions, enhancement, or replacement of physical defect of form or function. Note: Some surgeries are not performed at Intermountain facilities. Our health navigators can connect you with available options.

Urologists

These doctors treat conditions using medication and minimally invasive surgical techniques such as laparoscopy and robotics surgery. We use a multidisciplinary approach, coordinating care with your primary care physician and other cancer specialists. We are dedicated to extraordinary urological care using the least invasive means possible for all of your urological needs, from cancer to kidney stones.

Dermatologists

Intermountain Healthcare provides care for most skin conditions, both common and rare. Our certified dermatologists will work with you to quickly eliminate or reduce your symptoms, keeping you comfortable throughout the process.

Gynecologists

Intermountain offers a full range of gynecologic care, including annual exams, menopause care, and more. We are dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and personal environment where each person's gynecologic needs can be met.

Obstetricians

This physician specializes in delivering babies and caring for people during pregnancy and after they give birth. They treat medical conditions unique to pregnancy and perform surgeries related to labor and delivery.

Physical Therapists

Physical Therapy (PT) is a profession that promotes mobility, function, and quality of life through examination, diagnosis, prognosis, exercise and manual techniques. Physical Therapists can specialize in areas such as orthopedics, pediatrics, neurologic, pelvic floor, balance, wounds, etc.

Speech Language Pathologists

Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) provide assessment and treatment of a variety of speech and language services.

Social Workers

Social Workers provide short term therapy options, surgical letters of support and referral, as well as care management.

Trans Lifeline

Providing trans peer support for our community that’s been divested from police. We’re run by and for trans people.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project’s mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ young people; they provide information & support to LGBTQ+ young people 24/7, all year round.

Utah Aids Foundation

The Utah AIDS Foundation provides access to HIV and STI education, prevention, treatment, and care.
