Mikelle Moore has been a part of Intermountain Healthcare's leadership team for more than 20 years. In April 2017, Mikelle joined the Executive Leadership Team, serving as Chief Community Health Officer. Mikelle is a pioneer leading healthcare's pivot toward addressing the social determinants of health, preventing avoidable disease and injury, and improving mental health well-being, all to support Intermountain's mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible. Mikelle also serves as President of the Intermountain Community Care Foundation.
Mikelle is a certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She serves on the American Hospital Association's Population and Community Health Advisory Committee and the National Alliance to Impact the Social Determinants of Health. Mikelle also serves on various local boards, including United Way of Salt Lake, Envision Utah, and Shelter the Homeless.
Mikelle earned her master's degrees in business administration and health services administration from Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree in physiology from the University of Arizona.
