No decisions about my care, including the effects my diabetes may have on other medical issues, are ever made without my input and vote. Ultimately, my willingness to follow directions about my care, as well as things I need to do to maintain or improve my health having diabetes, is the key to my success or need to try other means to improve. There needs to be a great deal of trust involved. Afton Luego and the Staff of the Endocrinology/ Diabetes Clinic have that trust. I have been going to this clinic for several years, from the onset of my diagnosis until now. I know that my health and welfare are in good hands.

NP, Afton L, looks at the meters, shows me the results on the patient screen and comments on my progress. Knows her diabetic medicine extremely well, very well informed on the meds, meals, counting, etc THANK YOU
