The doctor didn't ask any questions and I don't believe he reviewed any health history, since the history/pre-appointment paperwork wasn't completed due to a computer error and no questions were asked, despite a rather complex health history. The whole appointment lasted like 5 minutes. [...]

I really appreciated Dr. Speakman speaking to me at the same level as himself and not above me. He seemed anxious to help me, listened to what I had to say, had solutions to my problems, and he was very polite.

I am more than happy with the level of care that I receive at Intermountain Healthcare. I experience that high caliber of care from the front desk wether it's over the phone or in person. I feel that they are professional & they take care In their work & that shows when you are interacting with them. I really appreciate that they are kind & are aware that most often when you are there It Is because you don't feel well therefore they treat you with care. The way they treat confidentiality, albeit you may be interacting over the phone call to schedule an appointment, your check-in at the clinic or paperwork they are friendly and compassionate. I am met with great respect from my doctor & have recommended him to other. He is kind & sincerely interested in how you are feeling. He makes eye contact, he listens very well & genuinely cares how you're feeling & it is clear that he wants to help. He listens very well & does not ever dismiss what you're feeling, he sincerely wants to help as much as he can. I hold Dr. Speakman in high regard because he truly cares about my health & has previously gone out of his way to help me when there was extenuating circumstances that needed his direct attention; he had to go out of his way in a time sensitive situation & he went above & beyond to help me. That is just the kind of doctor he is, he is invested in his patients wellbeing & care. I can say with conviction I'm my words that I am so thankful that Dr. Speakman is my primate care doctor, I know he is an outstanding doctor.

I have always thought very highly of my doctor, who is my primary care physician. He is kind when addressing the nature of the visit, wether it be a simple mess check or an issue of higher priority. He always greets me with a smile & gives me the feeling that he genuinely cares about you. My doctor listens very well, he makes eye contact, he is never distracted when I talk, he listens & acknowledges my concerns or questions in a professional manner while also making sure that I feel comfortable talking to him. I feel like he is thoughtful about what kind of treatment that is being administered & he takes what I have to say into consideration. I have never felt embarrassed by an issue, no matter the degree of sensitivity. He makes me feel heard when I am explaining my symptoms & he takes each issue seriously I appreciate this because I have been to other doctors who disrespect how I am feels by assuming that I am not familiar with medicine & how to treat my symptoms, my doctor gives me the respect & speaks to me with care.

Dr. Speakman is a great Doctor and cares very much!

Dr was pleased with my labs, said I was slightly anemic & changed one to a lower dose & added 2 supplements. Only hiccup was prescription sent to wrong pharmacy.

From start to finish visit was exceptional.

Dr Speakman had very little concern for this appointment, and he made that very clear. The nurse had asked if there was anything else going on besides my ear, so I told her my eyes had made a change so I may need to see an eye doctor too. Then they turned it in to an eye problem... So I clarified it was my ear, but I had asked for a referral for my eyes also. He looked at my ear, said it was clear, but I said It Is a problem, everything Is amplified and muffled, I cant understand people on the phone, so I cant work. He said he would turn In both referrals that day... And he left the room. The eye doctor called and scheduled an appt. But I didnt hear from an ear doctor, which Is the urgent problem... So I called Dr Speakmans office and they confirmed there was no referral requested for an ear doctor. So I'm still suffering with that.

There seems to be problems with this doctor. [...] the pharmacy kept saying they couldnt get a renewal. After so long, I got upset and messaged the doctor. That may be the reason for this other problem. He clearly was unhappy. But so am I. So a change may be necessary. I will look in to that.
