Dr. Wheelwright is not only a skilled physician, but he is also compassionate, attentive, and empathetic. He takes time to get to know you and answer all of your questions. He presents you with your options, allowing you to make an educated decision, and supporting you in whatever treatment approach you feel the most comfortable with. I never feel like just a number in his office. With the extensive sexual trauma history that I have, I never imagined that I would see a male provider. After seeing how Dr. Wheelwright was with his patients, I knew that I had to see him. Unlike previous providers, his response to my disclosure was one of compassion and genuine concern for how he could best help me. During exams or procedures, he takes his time. He is attentive to my needs, even if it means taking a break. He never gets frustrated or annoyed with my hesitation. I highly recommend Dr. Wheelwright to anyone who is looking for a new physician. Dr Wheelwright is an amazing physician. He explains everything and presents you with all options for your care, making sure that you are involved in deciding which way to go. He is down to earth and makes me feel comfortable in an appointment that is very stressful for me.

Dr. Wheelwright listened to my fears and concerns about undergoing surgery. We talked about the pros and cons, ultimately deciding together that it was the best option. I was never pressured into surgery, and it was very clear that I had other temporary options that we could try first. He took the time to answer my questions and explain the procedure to me.

They were all so kind. The nurse was apologetic that we had to wait even though it wasn't long. The doctor explained everything is great detail which was so nice since it was a little intimidating to me.
