The women and newborns center at Cedar City Hospital offers a broad range of care for you and your new baby. We have 16 state-of-the-art patient rooms, which includes meal room service for patients.
Our nursery reached Level 2 status in 2006, enabling babies up to six weeks premature to be born and cared for at Cedar City Hospital where they can be close to loved ones. Our medical staff is highly trained to provide the best possible care for women and newborns. The providers who deliver babies at Cedar City Hospital include those in the areas of OB/Gyn, nurse midwifery, family practice and pediatrics.
Labor and delivery services are designed to ensure the safety of mom and baby.
Nurse midwives provide midwifery, family planning, and gynecology services.
Post partum care includes a variety of services and support after childbirth.
Breastfeeding support is offered to mothers who want to breast feed their babies.
