At Intermountain Cancer Centers we specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of pancreatic cancer. We use a multi-disciplinary approach to provide patients and their families with the best outcomes possible.

We discuss each patient in our multi-disciplinary tumor conference each week. Specialists that attend include surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, dietitians, cancer care coordinators, and others. Patients and their family members are also invited to attend each Tuesday morning. Together, everyone consults and discusses treatment options to determine the best possible plan of care.

We offer minimally-invasive pancreatic surgery at both Intermountain Medical Center and LDS Hospital. LDS Hospital is also the only location in the Intermountain West where robotic pancreatic surgery is being performed.

Our patients have access to both national and local pancreatic cancer clinical trials.

How We Compare

The survival and cure rates of our pancreatic cancer patients are among the best in the nation. Intermountain Medical Center leads all other cancer patients in the nation for having the lowest complication and infection rates for patients undergoing pancreatic cancer surgery.

Intermountain Cancer Centers treat more pancreatic cancer patients than all other health systems in Utah combined. We treat 55 percent of Utah's pancreatic cancer patients.
