Help find out if high-efficiency air filters improve breathing during inversions
Help us find study participants who have worsening breathing during inversions to find out if indoor air filters can help.
You may qualify for this study if you:
- Are a former smoker
- Have Internet access at home
- Have worsening breathing symptoms during inversions
Participants will have an indoor air filter for 12 weeks during the winter season.
We will check symptoms by:

- Breathing tests
- Personal air quality monitors
There is a possibility of some compensation for time, following study completion.
If you are interested in participating in this study to help find out how to better protect people from poor air quality, please call or email our Air Quality Study group to see if you are eligible to participate.
