Intermountain Medical Center is one of 14 sites from across the nation that is part of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit Research Network — a partnership that extends back two decades. We've also been part of the NICU Research Network. Through these national partnerships, we are able to benefit from revolutionary work being done around the country, and contribute valuable advances than can help improve the health of mothers and babies around the world.
Our research ensures that we have the latest, best information to prevent problems where possible, while effectively and quickly diagnosing and treating existing health problems encountered by our pregnant and new-mother patients and their babies. We have active research teams at Intermountain Medical Center as well as McKay-Dee Hospital, LDS Hospital, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Primary Children’s Hospital.

We have close to 100 active clinical trials underway right now, and we're always in need of more participants. We'll contact you and help you determine which of our many trials might be right for you.
In order to participate, you must be planning on delivering your baby at an Intermountain Healthcare hospital somewhere between Ogden and Provo.
