Crew configuration
Each Air Ambulance crew includes two highly trained medical pilots, each with thousands of flight hours and extensive experience in critical transport. Every mission is staffed with a registered nurse and/or paramedic with advanced critical care expertise. Together, our teams bring decades of combined experience in trauma, ICU, and emergency settings.
For patients requiring advanced support, additional specialized crew members—such as respiratory therapists, perfusionists, and mechanical support nurses—can be deployed. Critical care providers are also available via telehealth for real-time monitoring and consultation throughout transport.
Our fleet
We uphold the highest standards in safety, service, ethics, and training within the air ambulance industry. All aircraft are owned, operated, and licensed by Intermountain Health Flight & Ambulance Services, ensuring consistent oversight and quality of care.
Our fleet includes three Beechcraft King Air B200 turboprop fixed-wing aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 jet, and a Bombardier Challenger 604—each equipped and maintained for safe, efficient medical transport.
