About the study
The purpose of the INSPIRE registry study is to collect blood or other biological samples, medical information and laboratory data from healthy individuals and those who have been diagnosed with a variety of medical conditions. The samples and medical information will be used to solve important research questions, including determining best medical practices for predicting, preventing and treating diseases.
To date, we have had over 30,000 individuals sign up to be part of INSPIRE. Based on their participation, we have been able to use the data and samples in over 250 independent research studies. These critical projects include the following:
- Evaluating genetic causes of disease
- Creating personalized treatment options
- Understanding how our environment, sun exposure, and pollution can impact disease
- Determining behaviors and lifestyles that can prevent disease
Participation in the Intermountain INSPIRE Registry is voluntary. All individuals age 18 and over are invited to learn more.
