If you have any long-term/chronic health condition that has taken over your life, or if you care for someone with a long-term/chronic health condition, the Living Well with Chronic Conditions class can help!
Living Well with Chronic Conditions is a 6-week program geared towards helping people take back control of their lives. You will learn ways to manage the day to day symptoms that most chronic health conditions cause such as fatigue, difficult emotions, sleep changes and pain. Learn how physical activity and nutrition can help and practice skills to improve understanding and mobility. Work together with other people, who understand what you are going through, to solve problems and achieve goals.
Live virtual or in-person classes meets once a week for around 2 ½ hrs. (In-person classes will resume once the COVID-19 situation has improved and it is safe to do so).
If in-person or virtual classes are not an option, we also offer the program in a telephonic format with a one-hour weekly conference call.
If your schedule doesn’t allow you to attend a live class, please consider registering for the Better Choices Better Health program which is an online version of this course. Log in anytime that fits your schedule.
