Bereavement Support
Whether the person who died was your parent, spouse, child, or friend, one thing is the same: someone you love is no longer near you. Your loved one can no longer play the same role in your life, and you can no longer play the role you played for your loved one. It’s going to be hard to get used to. How will you manage?
The truth is no one can answer this for you. Your grief is every bit as unique as your loved one, and you must find your own way through it. But you can find help by learning from the experiences of other people who have grieved and from accepting help from Intermountain Health's bereavement services.
Things to Know
Bereavement support is available before and after your loved one’s departure. Education materials can prepare you with helpful tools with insight into grief and how it works.
