The Prediabetes 101 Class is a free, two-hour, group session designed to help patients that have prediabetes begin engaging in diabetes prevention and reduce their risk of getting type 2 diabetes.
Each class is taught by a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator, or a certified health education specialist and will focus on the following:
• What is prediabetes?
• What is your risk of developing type 2 diabetes?
• What can you do to prevent type 2 diabetes?
• What changes are you ready to make to prevent type 2 diabetes?
