Attention: This is a two-part registration. The total cost for the class is $58. Please read instructions carefully and follow the steps below.
The BLS Providers course is intended for healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, CNA’s and those who work in a healthcare setting who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a BLS class. The BLS Provider class covers topics such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), relief of foreign-body airway obstruction and automated external defibrillation (AED). This course begins with an online portion followed by a skills pass off with a certified AHA instructor.
Step 1: Register for one of the class sessions below (cost $27).
Step 2: Click Here, and purchase the "HeartCode BLS" access key (cost $31). This online learning module must be completed before you attend the skills class at the hospital
Step 3: The course will generate a certificate when you successfully complete Part 1.
Please email your certificate no later than 2 days prior to your class to LOClasses@imail.org. You cannot participate in the scheduled skills pass-off without this certificate.
Step 4: Attend the scheduled skills class at Logan Regional Hospital. A card will be emailed for all participants who successfully complete the skills class.
