Heartsaver First Aid Course: Class participants will learn how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies. This course begins with an online portion followed by a skills pass off with a certified AHA instructor.
Heartsaver CPR AED Course: The Heartsaver CPR AED Course teaches AED use, CPR, and relief of choking in adults, children, and infants, and use of barrier devices for all ages. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR AED to meet job, regulatory or other requirements such as daycare providers, fitness instructors, etc. This course begins with an online portion followed by a skills pass off with a certified AHA instructor.
Participants must pre-register to receive the online access key. Once registered, an online access key will be emailed to you within 24 hours. If it is a weekend it will be emailed to you the following Monday. Once access keys have been purchased and emailed, there will be NO REFUNDS. Please note: You must purchase one online access key for each student being trained.
***If you work or will be working in the healthcare or dental field you should be taking the Healthcare Provider BLS CPR class. NOT Heartsaver CPR AED***
Online access keys can be used for initial or renewal certification. Course participants who successfully complete Part 1 will receive a certificate.
Please email your certificate no later than 2 days prior to your class to LOClasses@imail.org
You cannot participate in the scheduled skills pass off without this certificate.
Attend the scheduled skills review/practice. Complete the hands on skills test.
A card will be issued for all participants who successfully complete the skills demonstration for 1st Aid & CPR AED.
24 hour cancelation is required. There is a $25 skills pass off re-scheduling fee for those who fail to cancel within 24 hours.
