Birth Smart

Our Birth Smart class is a series of classes. When registering, you will attend all classes.

There are lots of options when it comes to taking a birth class and our Birth Smart classes are a little bit different than all the rest! We believe there is not just one way to birth a baby, so we talk about physiological birth, c-sections, inductions, and all that comes in between.

This comprehensive class is great for first time parents! Topics include:

preparing for labor as a team
the mechanics of birth
coping & working with your labor
interventions & medications
inductions & cesareans
postpartum recovery
the transition to parenthood

Registration

Registration includes space for 2 people (birthing person + support person).

Cancellation policy

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or change your registration. Contact us prior to five (5) business days before class begins for a refund or to reschedule. No refunds or transfers will be given after this time.

Weather cancellation

In the event of a snowstorm or adverse weather, an email will be sent out notifying you regarding class cancellation and we will follow up with a rescheduled class date the following business day.

Low enrollment

Occasionally, we must cancel a class due to low enrollment and will notify you by phone or email. In these instances, we will be happy to find a new class for you or issue a full refund.
