SPOT Skin Cancer Screening

Colorado is known for it it's sunshine and year-round outdoor activities AND an increased risk for skin cancer!  

You can find skin cancer early when it's highly treatable through regular screening and we are making it as easy as possible at this annual event.    

Area Dermatologists volunteer their time and expertise to provide skin cancer screenings as a free service through the American Academy of Dermatology, hosted by Cancer Centers of Colorado, Lutheran Medical Center, at our Red Rocks Medical Center location in Golden, Colorado.  

What to expect:

Screenings are performed in a medical office, so full-body screening is provided. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends full-body examinations whenever possible. If you prefer, you can have only exposed areas (face, neck, arms, hands, etc.) visually inspected for skin cancer.  Its quick and easy! 

NOTE:  This is a "rapid" screen, so if you are under the care of a dermatologist, or previously diagnosed with skin caner, this is not a substitute for your regular examination with your physician or dermatologist.
