Third Annual Intermountain Health Coach Symposium

The Third Annual Health Coach Symposium is designed to advance the professional practice of health and wellness coaching through evidence-informed education, skill development, and peer learning. The symposium will feature a keynote presentation by Meghan Hedrick, NBC-HWC, on Self-Compassion Theory and its application to sustainable behavior change. Participants will explore practical self-compassion strategies that can be integrated into coaching conversations to support client resilience, self-efficacy, and long-term health behavior change.
Additional sessions will address emerging topics relevant to contemporary coaching practice, including the use of AI to enhance coaching workflows, coaching considerations for individuals using GLP-1 medications, and mindful journaling techniques that promote client insight and self-awareness. The symposium will also provide opportunities for professional networking, collaboration, and discussion of coaching applications across diverse health and wellness settings.
