Bio
I get asked almost every day what a nurse practitioner is. I am not a medical doctor. I am not "like" a physician assistant. I am a NURSE with an advanced degree allowing me to be your primary care provider. With years of bedside care behind me, I realized education was standing in my way of doing more for my patients! Yes, I can diagnose, treat, order, and prescribe but more importantly I will talk with you, give you a hug when life gets too hard, play peek-a-boo with your kids, cry with you, stop and listen, be your biggest cheerleader, mourn with you, and treat you as a real person and never a number. I believe sincerity and compassion should remain in medicine and I enjoy building lasting relationships with my patients and their families. I was born and raised in Davis County, Utah where I had also been working in hospital medicine. I recently moved to Saint George at the end of July 2019. I currently live in Little Valley. I was thrilled to join Intermountain Hurricane Valley Clinic family and I love coming to work every day. I love sunshine, candy, crafting, naps, and exploring new places. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters, and golden retriever Leia.
