Julie A. Gainer, DO

The Intermountain Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists focus on high risk pregnancy care, invasive fetal testing (CVS and amniocentesis), fetal diagnosis via ultrasound and treatment, multiple gestation, management of placenta accreta spectrum and both low and high risk deliveries.

Dr. Gainer has been part of the Intermountain Maternal Fetal Medicine team since completing her fellowship in 2005. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois and her MFM fellowship training at The University of Texas Southwestern. Her areas of interest include prenatal diagnosis via ultrasound and fetal intervention. During time away from the hospital Julie enjoys traveling, camping and going to concerts with her partner and daughter.
