Leynibel N. Lopez Aponte, LCSW

Leynibel completed her master's degree in Social Work- with a clinical emphasis- at Brigham Young University. She has over 7 years of mental health experience across a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatry, residential, outpatient, crisis intervention, and behavioral health care management. Leynibel believes in working in partnership with her patients and considers the patients as the experts of their lives. Within the structure of a therapeutic alliance, she uses a number of therapeutic modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and a strengths and patient center approach.
