Sometimes traumatic events like a stroke, concussion, brain injury or other neurogenic conditions may lead to speech challenges. Our expert speech-language pathologists work with patients to help improve speech conditions, helping them better communicate.
Our speech-language pathologists provide one-on-one consultation with patients. During the office visit, formal and informal tests are given to evaluate conditions. Treatment options will be discussed based on the test results.
Generally, an evaluation or treatment session takes about an hour. Following testing and evaluation, treatment options will be discussed and a plan of care will be developed to help patients meet their goals.
