Who We Are

Each year, a variety of groups from across Primary Children’s Hospital seek input for the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) on important issues. These issues range from improving patient experience, safety, space design, family centered care, adolescent health, and so much more.

YAC also facilitates a fun and meaningful way to serve current and future patients and families at Primary Children’s Hospital. Participation on YAC looks great on college and job applications. YAC is a safe and accepting environment that welcomes diversity and creativity.

What We Do

Together, past patients and patient siblings meet to facilitate ideas and solutions on how we can best deliver exception care to patients and their families. We strive to be solution focused and really look to YAC members to offer insight based on experience, while caregivers provide insight from professional backgrounds. Together, we hope results and changes can be achieved.
