Coordinated Scheduling

Many patients at Primary Children’s Hospital require care from more than one physician or service. Scheduling and coordinating multiple appointments can be challenging and time consuming.

To help families, we have created Coordinated Scheduling. This service is available for patients with 3 or more clinic appointments that they would like coordinated during their visit to Primary Children’s Hospital.

Our goal is to use your time with us as efficiently as possible and minimize travel to the hospital.

Who can use Coordinated Scheduling?

Coordinated Scheduling is for patients and families who have 3 or more appointments that they would like coordinated during their visit to Primary Children’s Hospital.

How does Coordinated Scheduling work?

Scheduling specialists will verify appointment needs and availability with parent/guardian. They will make every effort to coordinate appointments in a short period of time (i.e. 4 appointments over 1 or 2 days).

What types of appointments can be coordinated?

• Clinic appointments with doctors at Primary Children’s Hospital.
• Imaging tests at Primary Children’s Hospital. (i.e. MRI, CT Scan, X-ray, etc.)
• Diagnostic tests at Primary Children’s Hospital.(i.e. EKG, EEG, Echo, Pulmonary Function, etc.)

What types of appointments cannot be coordinated?

• Procedures
• Surgery

Scheduling specialists are available to help answer questions regarding which appointments can and cannot be coordinated.
