In-person and virtual sessions
Way to Wellness, formerly Weigh to Health, is offered in Utah, Nevada, Colorado, and Idaho.
The program includes 16 sessions over six months, followed by seven monthly sessions:
- Three 60-minute one-on-one sessions with a registered dietitian nutritionist. With the help of a dietitian you will set goals, review progress, and personalize your Way to Wellness experience.
- Twenty 90-minute group sessions, with a maximum of 20 other participants. Group sessions cover everything from exercise and behavior basics to healthy eating and menu planning, plus so much more!
Costs covered by many insurance plans
Way to Wellness is often covered by SelectHealth, Medicare and other commercial insurance plans. Contact your insurance provider for coverage details.
If you would like to participate on a self-pay basis, please contact your local Way to Wellness representative for information.
Select Health Members:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Start the program with a BMI > 30.
- Start the program with a BMI between 25.0 and 29.9 with one of the following health conditions: cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension or high cholesterol.
- Successfully complete the Way to Wellness program.
Educators Mutual Members:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a diagnosis of cardiovascular disease or diabetes.
- Successfully complete the Way to Wellness program.
