Yoga is a series of postures and breathing techniques that help facilitate an environment that can lead to increased fitness, wellness, and mental clarity. Other benefits of yoga may include peace of mind, flexibility, stress reduction, improved balance and healing. Yoga is intended to meet everyone at their personal fitness level. Instructors are prepared to make modifications to allow all participants to reap the benefits of yoga practice.

Specialty yoga classes focus on postural control, healthy movement, and mindfulness. These classes are designed to avoid over-use of sensitive areas such as aggressive or more intense movement in the low back, knees and wrists, while also integrating mindfulness and skillful movement development.

Yoga Class Schedule

  • CHAIR YOGA: TUESDAYS/THURSDAYS 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
    • Seated and standing yoga poses
    • Great for all fitness levels including those in wheelchairs or with assistive walking devices
  • GENTLE YOGA: WEDNESDAYS 1:00 - 2:00 PM
    • Slow and meditative yoga practice to gain mobility and flexibility
    • Performed lying, seated, and standing on a mat with use of props

Participants may join unlimited yoga classes for $50 per month.
