Why Choose The Weigh to Health?

The short answer: Because it works!

The long answer: In addition to being accredited as a CDC-approved diabetes prevention program, The Weigh to Health uses evidence-based methods to increase physical activity, improve nutrition, and address a number of weight related health conditions.

Why does it work?

  • It's Personal.
    • The program provides one-on-one visits and small class sizes, which offers participants individualized attention. An emphasis on overcoming personal barriers in a supportive environment aids participants in reaching health goals.
  • It's Professional.
    • The program is facilitated by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, who are experts in weight loss and lifestyle change. Additionally, guest speakers are invited to discuss topics such as exercise basics, healthy cooking skills, and stress management tricks.
  • It's Proven.
    • The program is based on the latest science for diabetes prevention, weight loss, and behavior modification. A philosophy focused on lifestyle change provides participants with the framework needed to make changes that will last a lifetime.

Program Features

The Weigh to Health includes 16 sessions over six months, followed by seven additional sessions over the next six months:
