June 2023 Hiring Event 2
The first hiring event for Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital Miller Family Campus in Lehi, UT

We recently asked some of your coworkers these questions, on camera. Here is a sampling of what they told us:

“My dreams are becoming a reality.” –Sam Devine-Snow, Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Primary Children’s Hospital

“I got pooped on, puked on. …The patient was laughing.”
–Dave Clegg, Respiratory Therapy, Primary Children’s Hospital

“Every position…is respected and heard equally.”
–Josh Logan, Emergency Department, Primary Children’s Hospital

Other videos featuring caregivers from Primary Children’s Hospital and throughout Intermountain Health are available at the Intermountain Health Talent Acquisition Testimonial website, and the collection is continuously growing.

This video collection is another resource you can share with friends and colleagues who may be interested in opportunities to join our team at Intermountain Children’s Health. In many cases, there are even referral bonuses available for caregivers who help us find new talent.

When our new Primary Children’s Miller Campus in Lehi, Utah, opens in early 2024, some experienced caregivers will move to the Lehi campus from other locations, and we will need to hire new caregivers at all our locations.

Hiring is well underway. On June 7, we held the first job fair for the still under-construction campus. More than 150 people attended the Primary Children’s hiring event at Thanksgiving Point—an impressive turn-out.

Front-line leaders for the new campus and representatives from Talent Acquisition were there to meet and greet jobseekers interested in working at the new facility. Ashley Schlaich, Behavioral Health Services Director for the Lehi campus, said, “It was exciting to see such an enthusiastic group of leaders engage with the community to promote the growth of pediatric services in Utah County. This career fair was a fun and uplifting event to be a part of. I’m impressed with the show of community that happened on an ordinary Wednesday afternoon.”

The next Miller Campus hiring event will be September 6 from 1 pm – 5pm at the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point.
