Announcing the third round of Extraordinary Experiences winners!

When a parent raised a concern to RaeLyn Beach, Enhanced Scheduler, RaeLyn gave the parent her complete attention. Then she escalated the concern to the right caregivers to address the problem.
Effective Handoffs

Thanks to RaeLyn, the concern was resolved for that parent and child that same day.

Thank you, Jodi Alama, Nurse Manager-Outpatient/Community-BLS/PALS, for noticing RaeLyn’s extraordinary efforts and taking time to nominate RaeLyn for the Extraordinary Experiences campaign! You and RaeLyn will both receive prizes!

Other winners this round include:

  • Annie Romano, Social Worker, nominated by Megan Jenkins, Nurse Manager-Outpatient/Community·PC Fetal Center
  • Jill Comarell, Recreation Therapist, Child Day Treatment nominated by Sara Schmidt, Dance/Movement Therapist, Family Centered Services
  • Damon Blundell, Maintenance Engineer, nominated by Ali Meihls, Nurse Manager-Assistant II-BLS/PALS
  • Dr. Sarah Nguyen, Neurosurgeon, nominated by Casey Everett, Patient Care Technician/Health Unit Coordinator, Pediatrics Neuroscience-Trauma

All of these honorees, and the alert caregivers who nominated them, have prizes on their way!

Keep those nominations coming in! Every caregiver, from every department, can nominate any Primary Children’s caregiver, inside or outside your team, who exemplifies Effective Handoffs, Commit to Sit, and 10-5 principles, or just gives a bit of extra effort to create extraordinary experiences for our patients and fellow caregivers. The process is simple and takes less than two minutes. And there is no limit to nominations!  Nominate often to recognize all the extraordinary caregivers that surround you (and get more chances to win prizes for both of you).
