Announcing the latest Extraordinary Experiences winners

10 and 5

A mother pushing her daughter in a wheelchair was growing increasingly frustrated while waiting in a long line at the café at the Eccles building because her daughter kept grabbing items off the displays. Jeremy Reynolds, Ultrasound Technologist, asked her if he should hold her place.

She told him she just needed to pay for a drink but was having a hard time in the line. Jeremy offered to pay for her drink so she could get out of line.

What impressed me most about Jeremy was the calm and quiet manner he interacted with the mom,” said Cheryl Gerdy, Clinical Operations Director - Oncology, who nominated Jeremy for Extraordinary Experiences recognition.  He did not call undue attention to her and also did not call any attention to himselfHe just quietly did what was right and kind.

Thank you, Cheryl, for noticing Jeremy’s extraordinary act of kindness and taking time to nominate him for the Extraordinary Experiences campaign! You and Jeremy will both receive prizes!

Other winners this round include:

The process is simple and takes less than two minutes. And there is no limit to nominations! Nominate often to recognize all the extraordinary caregivers that surround you (and get more chances to win prizes for both of you).
