Next phase of position planning roll-out

In conjunction with the Workday transition in October, Intermountain will adjust the position planning process by delegating some of the review responsibility to additional leaders.

Nursing, Shared Clinical Services, Medical Group, Specialty-Base Care Operations, and Children’s Health requisitions will be reviewed by the corresponding vice president for final approval. The Workforce Planning Executive Committee will continue to review all other positions and senior leadership positions.

What hiring managers need to know:

  • You’ll continue to meet with your HR business partner to review data and needs before submitting a requisition in Workday. 
  • Starting in October, new positions posted only internally will also be included in the position planning review. Any position that will be posted externally must have the position planning review.
