Experience of Care Week September 9 to 13

This week, Intermountain commemorates “Experience of Care Week” to recognize all we’re doing to create better experiences for those we serve. We encourage all caregivers to find ways to participate in a meaningful way.

1. Contribute to Dr. Harrison’s blog conversation
We encourage all caregivers to read and contribute to Dr. Harrison’s blog post, where he kicks off the week with the “conversation starter” question: “How do you and your teams create extraordinary experiences for the people we serve?” We look forward to seeing your thoughts.

2. Attend or watch the September 12 Experience of Care Week Lunch and Learn broadcast at 12:00 pm
Dr. Anne Pendo will moderate a special discussion centered around how we can improve experience of care at Intermountain. All caregivers are invited to attend this brown bag event in the Doty Education Center or at a satellite location at their local facilities. Improvements will be presented in the form of a poster session. Go to the entry form here to share your work and progress.

If your team needs help making improvements in Safety, Quality, and Experience of Care, please contact the Office of Patient Experience at officeofpatientexperience@imail.org or speak to your local OPE manager.
